In 2018 Ellen first visited the Janakpur Women’s Development Centre enabled by her being granted the Artists International Development Fund and spending 2 months building a relationship with the centre. 

In a commitment to build longevity into her relationship with the centre, a year on she was invited back by British Council Nepal to revisit the collaboration with the centre and build upon the original ideas created.

As part of Fashion Revolution week interactive workshops were created. 

The collaboration between Ellen and the centre was curated into an exhibition at the British Council Office in Lainchaur, Kathmandu.
